Earthquake Relief Offering

Over the past week we have been shocked and saddened by the devastation caused by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. The death toll now exceeds 35,000, and as aid agencies work tirelessly to care for those affected and find any remaining survivors, it’s clear that the need is overwhelming.

On Sunday morning we will be taking a special offering in aid of the relief work. All loose money in the offering plate will be given to the work of Christian Aid, through the Bishops’ Appeal. Christian Aid is working on the ground in that region to deliver help to those who need it most, and as a church we want to show our support.
